SwiftKey is constantly adding apostrophes I don't need, making u grammatical changes, and if I use voice to text, makes choices that contextually fail regularly. It just doesn't work.

I've had a horrible experience with swift key. I'm using a Samsung galaxy s7 edge model SM-G935T. Android version 8.0.0 (and earlier versions as well). Swift key version 7.4.3.38. Let me just say your app is garbage. Telling people to constantly reinstall your app is no solution, it's a temporary fix for your own inadequacy. The algorithm learns from my mistakes, say I mistyped a word like "google" and instead typed "hpple" and now if I type h the predictive text will think hpple is a word now! It should be Improving with time as it learns things like slang etc, but instead it gets worse with time! It doesn't seem to understand what is correct or incorrect, like if I delete a mistake that mistake is now recorded, and now the dictionary is filled with not even exotic words but words that don't exist like dhkdhd or pwmwos and other garbley gook words. Its just absolutely trash because making typos on a modern smart phone is pretty easy to do considering there's no buttons. So your algorithm needs to be improved. I seriously don't care about it learning my slang and non standard words. If it just stuck to dictionary only words it would be such a damn improvement. I don't even want it improving it should just stay the same out the box. The fact none of you seem to have the problems in house just shows how incompent your company is when these issues are clearly happening to everyone, and has been happening for me over and over again FOR YEARS, regardless if I update for SwiftKey, get a new android version update. And if I delete the app and reinstall, I counted it one time and it literally only lasted 3 days before the same issue happened again. So is your solution for us to delete and reinstall your broken app every three days? Fix the damn problem! You have one damn job! This is outrageous. I'm going to get a new app most likely. Garbaaage.

Reading from the timelines here, it seems that one year after the acquisition of Swiftkey by Microsoft, the product started to go downhill. The acquisition was in 2016, product integrations tend not to occur after an M&A (Mergers & Acquisitions) until 1-2 years later, so the timeline fits.

    It's been a crap-show since it feels like. When I use Google's GBoard, I get near-perfect predictions.

When I use Swiftkey, it'll "correct" CORRECTLY typed words into something incorrect.

For example, I'll type "It's issue A only" and Swiftkey will "correct" the word "only" to "olyn" -- huh?

Or I type the word "something" and as soon as I press Spacebar, SwiftKey autocorrects the word to "somethign"

Or typing "you" and then watch as SwiftKey autocorrects the word to "yiu" or "yoo"

Or typing the word "done" and watch as SwiftKey autocorrects the word to "sine".

Just. What. How? This is becoming a negative-value product.

IMO - You can no longer type quickly with trust that SwiftKey will not mess up your flow.

It's not that I want to use another app. It's at this point, I have to use another app.

Hi Russell Zen sorry to hear this. Can you confirm this happens when typing with Flow? It would help us investigate the issue further if you could submit a video of this issue happening via https://aka.ms/sk-support. Thanks.
