    There is not such a feature available in SwiftKey, mostly because it is difficult to determine which apps actually support it. (Most SMS apps, for example, do not support bold, italicized, or underlined text. But there are a few that can with the use of MMS.)

    So why is it available in ios?

    Somewhat similar to Android, iOS has this functionality baked into the OS, but apps themselves have the ability to turn it on or off. On iOS, you'll press and hold on the text you want bold, and then select the bold option; this is not done by SwiftKey. While not very many apps on Android turn this functionality on, it is quite difficult for SwiftKey to determine which apps have or have not enabled it.

    I was able to bold text using a previous Samsung galaxy J7 and now since upgrading to Note 9..the format bar no longer is available in SwiftKey or SwiftKey beta... Odd🤔
