[Tutorial] How to prevent your keyboard switching from SwiftKey back to the stock keyboardKalıcı Olarak Yerleştirildi Öne Çıkarılanlar
Dear SwiftKey users,
We heard several times that some of you may run into an issue that annoys you very much: I selected SwiftKey as default input method, and it will randomly switch back to the stock (OEM) keyboard
Reason no.1 is the RAM cleaner killed SwiftKey. The solution is very easy: add SwiftKey into the white-list.
More importantly: it also could because some of the phones' OS has special RAM management and battery monitor to control the usage of each app. SwiftKey Keyboard for Android supports 5 languages at the same time, plus the Neural (AI learning) technology for predicting next words intelligently might need a bit more power from your phone. This could cause unwanted accidentally killing of SwiftKey
How to prevent it?
Well, different phones have different OS, even if they're all Android, but deeply customized. Here I list some of the phones which ran into this issue.
Samsung devices before Android Nougat update and some other close to stock android OS phones: System Settings > Battery (Power) > Battery Optimization > tap "not optimized" and select "all apps" > Find SwiftKey > Choose "Don't optimize".
Samsung device after Android Nougat (7.0+) update: System Settings > Device Maintenance > Battery > Unmonitored apps > Add apps > check SwiftKey.
Oppo smartphones: Security Center > Battery > Enable Smart power-saving mode > Power-saving app control and management > Add apps > check SwiftKey.
Xiaomi smartphones: Go to Security Tab -Permission-Auto-start management - Add auto-start apps, check SwiftKey.
Hope this little tutorial can help you. Let us know if you have any other tips or tricks to help others out
