Keypress Vibration suddenly stopped working
YanıtlandıThe keypress vibration for SwiftKey Beta 7.6.1.2 on my Samsung Galaxy S10 stopped working out of nowhere, and my phone doesn't vibrate when I press a key.
Here's what I tried:
* Enabling system vibration on the SwiftKey settings.
* Disabling system vibration and setting a custom vibration (my phone vibrates when setting the vibration duration slider, but not when pressing keys).
* Rebooting the phone.
* Clearing all cache and data from SwiftKey.
So far nothing worked, and my keyboard is vibrationless.
Hello, we have recently made some updates so that we properly respect the system defaults. You should be able to get the vibration back by unchecking the "Use the Android default vibration" in your SwiftKey "Sound & Vibration" settings.
If you continue to experience the issue, please contact us here https://aka.ms/sk-support and we can investigate further. Thank you.
I have some issue about that, I have no idea what causes this, but occasionally the vibration when I type on my keyboard just doesn't work...
I had the same issue today. Yesterday was all fine but today the keypress vibration was gone. I tried looking in the device settings and it was on but didn't work anyways. I'm on Samsung galaxy s8.
Same here.
In my case it stopped working after an Android system update.
My device is a Samsung A71 and the security patch level installed before the issue was the "1 October 2020".
I've tried to workaround it in all possible ways I could imagine, including all the ones described here in this topic.
