SwiftKey has worked well for years. Just noticed that vibration on keyboard stopped. I've checked and updated settings between android defraud and SwiftKey. Several reboot attempts also. Neither works. Any ideas.
Hello, thank you for reaching us. Sorry for the trouble. May I know, since how long you have been experiencing this issue? or Did this problem start after changing something on your device? Could you please help us with your device make & model, OS version and SwiftKey app version? Thank you!
Hello, this happened to me too just after upgrading to Android 13. Pretty sure it was caused by that.
I usually keep my Android without vibration by default and I use the custom vibration by SwiftKey.
Hello Thyago Lopes, Sorry for the trouble. While we are investigating the issue, could you please try to clear the cache of the app and restart your device and try to turn off and turn on the 'keypress vibration' option? This often irons out any issues that might be impacting performance.
Also, Could you please help us with your device make & model, and SwiftKey app version? Thank you!
Hari Kyasa I tried all the steps, in the order that you mentioned, and didn't fix it.
My device is a Google Pixel 6 and like I mentioned, the problem started when I upgraded Android to version 13, so I'm pretty sure that Google changed something in the OS that is overriding the apps configuration. My SwiftKey version, if I'm checking it right, is 8.10.22.4
Hi Thyago Lopes, Thank you for the information and help. We have forwarded this issue to our development team for further evaluation. Sorry for the inconvenience. Thanks again for reporting this to us!
