Hi,

Sometimes the text field does not update correctly when typing in Whatsapp. When the cursor goes to the second line, the text field is still only one line high, which means that I can't see all the typed text. Swiftkey and Whatsapp are updated, and this has happened with iOS 10 and 11.

I don't know, if the root cause is in Swiftkey or Whatsapp, but I will report this also to the Whatsapp support.

Hi!

Recently, on whatsapp I noticed that the SwiftKey on whatsapp is not scrollable while typing a paragraph.

Anyone with the same error? I being typing in whatsapp, and the input area doesn't expand to display the complete text I type into the whatsapp text input. It just display a single line as an input area without expanding to the complete textarea.

I have iPhone SE, on latest update of iOS.

I know that the Android version has Thai keyboard for a while now so I am wondering why is it taking so long for the iOS version to come up with it. I've purchased the SwiftKey hoping to use it but without the multilingual input it is kinda been useless to me so far.

Remove prediction does not seem to do what it's meant to do. It will forget the word but if you keep writing it explicitly then it will relearn it and predict it again.

This is very frustrating ...

We a need more accurate way to move our keyboard cursor acrossed the text. Also it would be sweet to get more text predictions in the predictions bar, so being able to swipe and scroll to the left and see more predictions. Like in windows 10 mobile.

Basically just port over the w10m keyboard please!! :)

HI! I first requested support for Urdu 2.5 years ago, and request it again every year. It's always in development, that's the reply I get. 

Today with the update for the support of 68 languages, I was certain that Urdu would be one of them. But no. 

I want to know will it ever be supported? When?

It's very similar to Arabic, I am interested to know what makes it too difficult to support Urdu which has almost the same characters.

am using swiftkey on an iphone Xs max and the keyboard (layout with numbers on top) keeps jumping / moving up and down randomly. tried reinstalling and installing but still the same. anyone encountered this issue if yes kindly advise...thanks

Swiftkey, while being a superb app (using both on iOS and Android), does not support my native Armenian on iOS and the keyboard layout options on Android are quite limited.

The major keyboard layouts for Armenian language are Armenian Eastern, Armenian Western and Armenian Phonetic.

The keys on my iPhone 7 are a little to small compared against the original keyboard. And it makes me do a lot of more mistakes.

Would love to have an option for haptic feedback for SwiftKey iOS. I can't understand why they haven't added that yet, it seems really simple. I don't want to leave SwiftKey because of this, it's such a great keyboard.

I’ve used this keyboard on all of my devices, it is my go to keyboard. I recently changed from an android to an iPhone. It is my first time using an iPhone/IOS. SwiftKey is not allowing me the option to have accented characters or the option to add a number row. I was wondering if this is just the way it is with iOS ?

Period is way way way too easy to press.

I really would like to not have to hit the number key to get special characters and numbers . On my android I could long press a key to get the character or had the option for a number row. In iOS, it's really a pain to have to leave the main keys to just get a character or number. Can you add a number row and make special characters accessible on the letter keys? Thank you

Just switched from Android (where this keyboard worked just great for me for last couple of years) to iOS and have an impression that it doesn't speed up my typing at all here...

Can you please remove accented characters that are not supported/does not appear in the selected language? I'm using Polish as my main language and when trying to input "Ą" I have to scroll all the way through À, Á, Â, Ä and couple more that my language doesn't use  to reach my native letter at the end (can't make a screenshot with this long-pressed pop-up appearing on screen). The same situation happens with other accented characters of Polish language (Ę, Ł, Ó, etc). That was not an issue on Android.

Dear Admin/Mod/Developers,

There are other posts about this which were months old, but I feel that I have to voice out again.

I was on an android phone until recently, and I had been using SwiftKey on android (English, Korean, Chinese, Japanese). I just switched to iOS recently and was taken aback that foreign languages such as Korean, Chinese and Japanese are not available here..

Can the community be given some sort of updates on whether there is a team working on adding these new languages in the roadmap?

SwiftKey is the best keyboard out there for me and I am currently struggling with stock keyboards. I hope at the very least Korean keyboard can be added soon.

Edit: I would definitely be more than glad to pay for your keyboard even if you add Korean keyboard as a premium feature

Since a few updates SwiftKey started to flicker, i.e. when I pick the text input area in an app (doesn't matter which one, same behaviour all across the board) SwiftKey shows up, quickly vanishes and then shows up again. If I start typing before it vanishes nothing happens until it reappears. That's annoying, but I can stand it if it weren't for..

Sometimes SwiftKey doesn't reappear, but the standard iOS keyboard. So I have to manually switch keyboard again.

Quite annoying, frankly. A fix, please?

I don't understand how to enable Haptic feedback in SwiftKey. The support article says

Opening the emoji panel, long-pressing the emoji/globe key, 
and activating the 'emoji bomb' will all trigger small vibrations.

But i don't see an "Emoji Bomb" in the emoji panel. 

I am using an iPhone 8 with iOS 11

Given that WordFlow has now been shut down in favor of SwiftKey.  It would be nice to have the curved keyboard option available in SwiftKey for one handed (right or left) operation.

When will Korean be available for iOS. It's been available for Android for years now.

Since English is a standard spoken language you should add to the English base language other 2 spoken languages so you are able to type in 3 languages simultaneously.

In iOS default arabic keyboard we've two layouts: Arabic and Arabic PC
(Arabic PC is like the layout of an Arabic keyboard on windows)
So please support it because I'm used to it.

My Swiftkey doesn't work in Mail app ONLY. So weird.. Any suggestions?

The layout is broken on ipad mini 6 in portrait mode. It works fine in swiftkey settings where you can change theme and view keyboard preview, but in any other app is broken, see images.

Using Swiftkey in the iOS 13 Mail app with iPhone Xr, the keyboard now takes up so much screen space that there's not much room for editing the text! I've had to switch off the number row (which I really like) to save space, because the new iOS editing bar/row (whatever it's called), can't be hidden like it can with the native keyboard. Any ideas? Anyone agree this is an issue? 

Also, although I now only have Swiftkey enabled, so that there is no Globe/Global key at the bottom, there is still about 1cm of empty space on the screen between the bottom of the space bar and the home bar/line at the bottom of the screen. Is there any way this space could be reclaimed, I wonder?

iOS 13.2.2 but same issue since iOS 13

Ever since my XS max update to iOS 13, the keyboard default won't stay constant.  I've moved the top keyboard around within Settings General Keyboards, but SwiftKey at the top typically will not come up as default.  Worked fine prior to the iOS updates.  Not sure what to do.

Is it possible to remove this area, which I marked on my screen to get more screen space for my conversations? I disabled all other keyboards and microphone functions so all buttons disappeared from a bar and now it's just unused and wasted space on my screen :( Anyone?
